Your Nouveau Contour 2 day Paramedical (Medical Tattoo) training will consist of:

Vitiligo
This pigmentation disorder is caused by an absence of melanin in the skin. We’ll show you how to disguise the white patches and even out a client’s skin tone. The process works particularly well on the lip area and especially on darker skins.

Your course will cover:
- Characteristics
- Auto immune system
- Treatment options
- Colour matching

Cleft lip
We’ll show you the various stages in disguising a cleft lip to recreate natural looking lips. Step one is to use MCA techniques (see below) to soften and relax the scar tissue. Next, you’ll be taught how to create a new, more symmetrical lip line and finally how to fill in with a natural lip colour that’s suitable for the client’s skin tone.

Your course will cover:
- Cleft formulation
- Reconstructive surgery
- Scar relaxation
- Creating the perfect shape
- Colour selection and implantation considerations

Scar relaxation
Micro pigmentation procedures have the benefit of improving the look of scarring by breaking down the taut scar tissue and creating a more even-textured surface. We’ll teach you this important process in reducing scar tissue.

Your course will cover:
- The use of MCA to remodel scars
- Remove excess collagen and promote elastin/collagen production

Scar camouflage
In this section you’ll learn advanced micro pigmentation techniques to diminish and disguise scars from either surgery or injury. We’ll show you how to custom blend pigments that harmonise with the surrounding tissue and then implant them to make the scar less noticeable and reduce its contrasting, shiny appearance.

You’ll also learn non-pigmented camouflage techniques and be advised on setting realistic expectations for your clients, as well as considerations for Asian and darker skinned clients.

Your course will cover:
- Types of scars
- Skin tones
- Pigment selection
- Implantation

Burns and how we can help
Burns are similar to scars in that the surface of the skin shrinks to give a tight, stretched appearance and is usually discoloured. Here, we’ll teach you the techniques to soften burns and use micro pigmentation to blend the area in with the surrounding skin.

Scalp hair stimulation
Although this is not an answer to balding, we’ll teach you scalp hair stimulation techniques for small areas of hair loss, for example on scar tissue or to help camouflage donor areas following hair transplant operations.

Your course will cover:
- Hair transplant technique
- Scar patterns
- Implantation technique

Wrinkle therapy
- MCA for wrinkle therapy
- Skin re-pigmentation

Dry needling
